One of the upsides to quarantine is that I've had time and headspace to write music. We'll see how long those two factors hold out but, for now, here's the third of three original tunes that we recorded on May 25th. This one is an aggressive, up-tempo number in an asymmetrical rhythm
featuring our accordion player, Michael Ward-Bergeman.

The other thing I've been spending a lot of time on during the pandemic is Sudoku, the action-packed Japanese number puzzle. I noticed a couple of years ago that, while staring at a 9x9 grid trying to solve it, I often tap my pencil on the book in this nervous 5/8 pattern upon which
the opening vamp for this tune is based.

Give it a listen. I hope the odd meter doesn't trip you up too bad. Everybody please stay well and we'll see you again next month.

And as always, thanks for your continued support!
